Just SHINE!

Mathew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works , and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

 

Hna Villena and Hna Bott

Well this week was super good! Ismena and Jafet were baptized. Ismena called us on Friday and just told us how grateful she was for the gospel. She said, I was spiritually dead but now I feel that I have been born again because of Christ.

After their baptisms they bore their testimonies and I felt the spirit so strong. She and Jafet are going to be great disciples of Christ. Now, it is enduring to the end! The Temple! Mission! So we will continue to work with them as they are transitioned into the ward. The family of five are doing well!!

Women’s Conference was amazing. Hermana Villena and I were sitting in the conference during the family movie and we looked at each other and we were both crying then Hermana Villena said... I bet my mom is watching this crying. And then I said ya mine probably is too (she is right!)...there we were together crying! It was a good moment! I love my companion. One thing that stuck out to me was obviously the Family!

But also how we can help our family be happier. It is through the Atonement and Charity. It’s like the picture I drew. We have a battery. And the current that creates the light is charity. But pride blocks the charity or the light. When there is light there is no obscurity or darkness. Have you ever felt darkness? Like a cloud all the time. It’s no fun! But when we have charity we feel the spirit. Light. Happy. 

It is amazing. How does God’s grace help us? Or better said how do we receive the grace? It is through other people!! I know that the Gospel changes us and that we can change the world for good! I’m sooo excited for general conference and to hear the prophet’s voice! I know President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet and I’m so grateful for him.
