Hola,
Well,
this week was fabulous! Happy Easter last Sunday! I had the best one yet!
Hermana Merren and I had 7 investigators at church and 1 less active! it was
awesome I was soooo happy for all of them! And this Saturday we have 2
baptisms! Keti, who is getting married this week so she can be baptized sat.
She is awesome, she has read all of gospel principles and she is already
looking forward for her husband to receive the priesthood and be sealed in the
temple next year! whooo! its so exciting! She is a strength to her soon to be
husband Alex. They are so cute with their little daughter Murielle, oh so cute.
Our
other baptism is Alexandra and she is 9. Her mom is a member and wants her
daughter baptized. So we have been teaching her and she is so excieted to get
baptized. it was so funny on saturday she asked if when she got baptized if she
would get dumped into a pot of water because that's what a nonmember told her.
The poor girl. so on Sunday we showed her the baptism font. She is so cute!
Seriously she reads her libro de mormon everyday.
Vicky
is a friend of one of the less actives we're working with and we gave her the
book of mormon to read and she is reading at least a chapter a day its so cute!
she called us yesterday and asked when we were going to visit her and her mom!
its amazing how close to the spirit children are they are very spècial. We need
to get their parents on board now! haha she is so cute!
On
pday we watched 17 miracles in english! ya! it was so good! I loved it! I am so
grateful for the pioneers and their sacrifices for me to be able to have this
gospel and the blessings of covenants in the temple! I love my ancestors!
Hermana Jessica was home for Semana Santa (Holy week before Easter) and she
came on visits with us from Thursday to Sunday! it was lo maximo! I love her!
its always a good day when she is in Cañete! She had to go back to Lima
yesterday! But we’ll see her again!
This
Sunday we had a lesson with Carlos. His nephew is a recent convert who is
awesome and helps us out a ton and it was our 3rd lesson with him. He read the
scripture from the libro de mormon we left him and he went to church and
brought his daughter! It is so amazing to see the change from lesson 1 to
lesson 3. The first lesson we invited him to baptism and he said yes shyly and
hesitantly by Sunday because he is reading praying and going to church he
confidently said yes to baptism and we set a date! May 22! whoo! This week was
amazing! The Lord loves all of His children, 2 Nefi 26 33.
For
none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good
among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the
children of men; and he ainviteth them ballto ccome unto
him and partake of his goodness; and he ddeniethnone
that come unto him, black and white, ebond and
free, male and female; and he remembereth the fheathen; and
all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.
I
love this gospel and know with all my heart it is true. When we build our life
around Christ we cannot fail and if we ask in faith He WILL answer. We just

Miracle
of the Week! Hermana Jessica came
with us for Thursday through Sunday on visits with us.
BTW I saw Ashley P. in
the Liahona it was awesome! She is so pretty!
Oh Also, our
district leader played a trick on us. He said hna Merren was leaving for Pisco
and I realized how much I really love her. I was so glad that it was a joke!!!
I will be in Cañete a little longer!
