It is important to be CONVERTED

Hello, from Peru!! I am very excited to write you all this week! To be honest this was a very hard week. But we are not going to let it get us down.

One thing I have learned is how important it is to be CONVERTED not just baptized.

I also have learned how important visiting and home teachers are. Many inactive members would not be inactive here if their visiting teachers and home teachers taught them.

Anyway, we get to go to the temple next week for p-day! And then we get to go witness baptisms for the dead of CR and MAR (not sure what she means by this, maybe it is people they taught?). Im super excited.

Its been so fun being able to do family history work here. This week we went to familia Camp. and they had all filled out their my family book with pictures, stories, info, and dates. They were so excited to show it to us!

And, the dad, who has been inactive for awhile came to church yesterday! I was soooo happy he came. They are all working to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. I had an intercambio (exchange, this is where they switch companionships for the day or evening) with Hermana Saenz from West Virginia it was great to learn from her! I love when we have intercambios. It is an opportunity to learn! So the phrase Come Unto Me.... has been on my mind a lot lately and what it really means.

I love the Song Come Unto Me. Anyway, as we draw nearer to the Savior the Natral man or women is put off more. We can CHANGE. Change is one of the blessings of the Plan of our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for change. We can change through the enabling power of the Atonement. I love the gospel and I love all of you!!! Have a happy and upbeat day!!!
