The Good Peruvian

So I have a lot of emails today so this is short!! Sorry! I had a great week with Hermana Galo. Our ward mission leader is awesome he has this plan to help the ward find and teach and baptize and rescue families. He is so consecrated.

So, a story from yesterday; I was listening to a talk in the morning from a general authority and he talked about one time he had an impression to stop and help a boy while he was driving to a meeting when he was a mission president in Africa.

A Peruvian little girl

This boy, who was about 10 years old, was crying. He ignored it and went to his meeting. Again he had the impression to help the boy. So he had someone go get the boy. This boy had lost all of his money and his parents had been killed earlier that year.  The significance of this story is that Heavenly Father loves all of His children no matter where we are in our journey or how far we have wandered or how insignificant we feel.

Yesterday, the same day I had listened to this talk, we were walking from the church with 2 members. One of them stopped all of a sudden and the rest of us kept walking. We realized she stopped and we stopped as well. There was a little boy crying. he was about 10 years old. I had a flash back. The little boy had had a fight with his mom. He had a bruise on his eye. He didn't want to go back to his house. Anyway, she comforted him and talked to him for about 15 min. It was a great example to me of the good Samaritan. I know that God Loves ALL of His children. He is our Father and wants us to be happy.

 Elder Holland said, talking of the prodigal son.... no one of us is less treasured or cherished of God than another. He loves each of us insecurities, anxieties self image and all.

Ether 12:27

 27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them theirweakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
