Hola Familia!

This week was great!! Not much happened because we have gotten into the routine of things so this will be short.  But we got new roommates this week 2 from Argentina and 2 from Utah!

I love Hermana bailey she the best companion ever! She is always so happy and fun to be around we are seriously always laughing :)

Today we went to the temple and it was awesome! The session was full so they took 10 of the hnas that were left and they put us in a really small room and it was awesome! The whole thing was in Spanish (obviously) and it went well! It’s amazing the love Heavenly Father has for all of his children, it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor he loves you anyway.

Then we went to metro and I got oatmeal! And this older man stopped us while we were in metro and asked if he could come to the LDS church even though he was catholic and we said yes, obviously, and got his info so he could be contacted. I love the people here! And then we went to garaje (garage in english) and I bought a messi jersey! Nalany would be so proud of me!

We had some great devos and such this week. I’m just going to share a little from Elder Neil L Andersons in an MTC devo he said said- first love then sacrifice. it’s as simple as that. He said- we sacrifice for the things we love and we love the things we sacrifice. He said- take away the word I and your doubts and fears. During personal study I read Moroni 8.16 AND IT SAID THAT PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT ALL FEAR (sorry for the caps dont know what happened there). I loved that it’s important to love the people you are serving, your companion, yourself, your family and friends etc. but most important is to love God and His son Jesus Christ. Remember to just be kind. Here are some scriptures he shared- 1 Corinthians 13:13, John 3:16, DC 97:8, 1 John 4:19, 2 Nefi 2:7, Alma 5:7.

I love it here. It is amazing. It’s amazing to feel comforted because before I left I worried I would be homesick and feel lonely but I haven’t felt either. I have felt comforted and even though I look really dumb a lot of the time during language its ok because so does everyone else because we are all learning. Heavenly Father is giving us amazing opportunities to come and serve Him. I know this is exactly where I am supposed to be and I love being here!

One of the hnas here her name is hna Durfee we realized we trained with Anita Rowland together. She was older but during the summer stuff she was there. Anyway I really like her we’ve gotten a workout group together and it’s been awesome! So glad I brought the workout stuff! it’s been really nice.

Love you all! Hope you had a great valentine’s day! Tell grandpa Bott happy birthday for me I know its next week but I don’t want to forget. This was longer than I was planning sorry :)
