Hermana Bott leaves and arrives!

Buenos dias!
At Airport with the 3 sisters she went to Lima with all are in the Lima South Mission

*she is on a Spanish keyboard and for some reason hasn't figured out caps and punctuation yet!

well there is so much to tell you im going to miss a lot of things in this so i will make sure i get the big stuff! first off i love it here! theres just something about it! i havent even been homesick, i do love you but im where i need to be. our flight was delayed 5 hours and we didnt leave until 10 so we got to the lima airport at 7 am,

then went to the ccm and arrived there at 9 am and had training etc all day. we have a lot of classes with spanish and learning how to teach, but its a lot more fun then school, the teachers hardly speak any english :) i love it! they are so patient and kind to all of us! sunday was awesome we had church at the ccm and it was testimony meeting in Sacrament meeting (jsut north americans) and RS meeting (all hermanas latinas and north americans), it was amazing! they are amazing people! then we watched the Joseph Smith movie and watched a devo. from Elder Holland, it was so good!! Ill share a little from what i heard, im  only sharing 2 becasue of time but it was a great talk it was to missionaries at the provo mtc a few years ago before the age change.
1. You need at least one convert while you are on your mission- meaning yourself (the missionary). its so true i think this mission is going to change me more than anyone else. He said, quote-never go back to waht you were before your mission, even if you were good before, come back BETTER. you have to keep growing developing, learngin and pushing up a hill and keep pushing yourself to the edge (meaning to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself). sis baileys mom says quote- there is no growth in the comfort zone, there is no comfort in the growth zone. i like that saying and i love hna bailey she is hilarious and keeps me smiling!
2. the Book of Mormon is revelation about revelation. the Book of Mormon is the key to every conversion, if you can get an investigator or yourself or someone else to read just the first chapter they read about Gods love, prophets, obedience, the spirit, etc etc. his talk was a good wake up call of how important it is.
3. teach after the manner of the spirit. meaning try to become like the spirit. the spirit is simple, you feel it, can be bold, individualized, its true, teaches with love, testifies and it is ALWAYS clean. if you want an investigator to pray harder, read more, be better, break habits etc then you have to do all of those things as well so you are progressing.
im learning more and more missions change lives and im so grateful for the opportunity, and im not saying its a piece of cake but i love it and im so happy!!!!!!!! all you need is a step of faith and once you get here its awesome.
Emily is standing next to Sister Bailey her companion. Em looks like a giant! She is only 5'7"

miracle of the week- i made it!!!!! and  seeing how blessed i am, a lot of the latinos come from places that dont have toilets etc., its so sad but they are the most giving, loving, and kind people you will ever meet. on the first day they taught them how to do laundary and lead music- simple things i take for granted back in the us.
playing soccer with the latinos is really fun! they are really good!

the food is pretty good but there is rice for EVERY meal and its not so good for your insides haha. but other than that its fine. i had lomos saltado and it was good but not as good as sis bunkers!!! :)

Adios!
